"Pluck from the
memory a rooted sorrow, I've been writing poetry my entire life. Fortunately, I've destroyed most of it, else I would be buried in my undeniably lame attempts at art. As it is, I have thousands of poems. Most are quite mediocre. On these pages, I have attempted to ignore the mediocre and stick to the good and the bad. Sonnets are my main interest. "My Sonnets" is a page devoted to my sonnets. Clever! "Desperados" are sonnets that are lost and alone; they haven't found their ways into a sequence as of yet. Try "Sonnets 101" if you need a basic definition of sonnets and how they should work. And if you'd like to try writing your own sonnets, but don't know where to start, take a look at the "Sonnet orphans"; they may help. For those who prefer a looser style of poetry, I also have a few freeform poems online. After all these years of writing, a person is sure to have written some atrocious stuff. I have more than my share. Come to the Gallery of Poetry that Sucketh for a good laugh. Finally, you can bore yourself to tears reading my opinions on poetry. Welcome.
